Julia helps organizations tell stories that connect with their audience. Before joining Corcoran in June 2015, she served as Chief Communications Officer for SAFE Austin, a merger of SafePlace and Austin Children’s Shelter.
Under her leadership, SafePlace achieved a 350% increase in direct mail revenues and a 171% increase in newsletter revenues. “We changed everything – newsletters, website, direct mail appeals, and thank-you language – to tell our story more effectively. And it worked.”
As Communications Director for Trinity Episcopal School, she developed a publication that won a Council for Advancement in Support of Education (CASE) Award.
Julia graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in English.
